It is here in the heart of Baja California, between the Sea of Cortez and towering Mount Diablo, that you will find a little fishing village called San Felipe. We have stunning views, pristine beaches, incredible seafood, and amazing desert sunsets, but in our opinion the best part of Baja is the racing.
Team Overall Motorsports is San Felipe’s local off road race team. This is our home and it is where we play and race. Although we are a new team we have high hopes and have committed ourselves, our team, to race and to win the 2012 Mexican 1000.
Creativity is essential when it comes to desert racing. Selling sponsorship (advertising spaces) is the standard way of raising funds for a race team. We realized that being a new team with no fans or followers, it would be difficult to get the attention of major sponsors. That is why we have decided to think outside of the box. We are bypassing the big name sponsors and are going directly to our fans, our friends, our neighbours, for their support.
We are doing something different and are including you, the race fan, the Baja enthusiast, as part of the team effort. Your donation will get your picture or your name in racing script on the side of our truck. When we cross the finish line a part of you will cross that line also. Our firm intention is to finish first, and with your support we will!
